Hi, what a brilliant site. I came across it while searching my family history.I was pleased to see old photo's Trimsaran. I lived there with my Grandparents during the war, and to see the pictures brought a lump to my throat. My Grandparents lived in the row of houses near the Trimsaran coal mine. The train line was at he bottom of the garden and I used to watch the engine shunt the coal trucks up to the large sheds at the top of the line. I believe this is where the new race track is now..The date of photos of Trimsaran I think = Main St and Chapel Hill early 1940s, those views are exactly as I remember it, the Tabernacle where I went to Sunday School I think is in the 1950s judging the clothing that is worn by the people in the picture Gillian Ballard.
