A Gwendraeth Valley village is preparing to host its first golf tournament.The first Mynyddygarreg Open Golf Tournament will be held at Glyn Abbey Golf Club, Trimsaran, on Sunday, June 29.

Ex-Cop in Child Porn Trial - 14 May 2008

A Former Pembrey police officer has appeared in court accused of possessing more than 2,000 indecent images of children. Geoffrey Harries, aged 49, is alleged to have had a total of 2,082 images on his computer while working as a constable for Dyfed-Powys Police.
